In your second year, you can assert your personality!
In addition to the core curriculum, which provides you with the necessary scientific foundations, you choose most of your courses in the second year, with integration electives in semester 7 and subject electives in semester 8. This allows you to discover various application areas and deepen your knowledge in those that interest you the most, helping you to gradually build your career plan.
The second year is also marked by challenges: intense short periods to reveal your leadership skills in extreme situations, learning to innovate by stepping out of your comfort zone during an “Imagine & Make” week, and immersing yourself in a company through a virtual role-playing game.
Challenge weeks are an intensive educational programme that promotes project-based learning and the development of cross-disciplinary skills.
Students work in teams on complex problems, often proposed by industrial or institutional partners.
These activities require creativity, scientific rigour and the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary context.
Supervised by teachers and experts, students design and present innovative solutions, sometimes in the form of prototypes or recommendations. These weeks help to strengthen the role of engineers who are able to analyse, design and communicate effectively in uncertain and collaborative environments.
