Your last year on a professional contract!

Training at Ecole Centrale de Lille in the final year enables students to focus on a particular subject or sector as well as an engineering function.

Students on work-study contracts at the school :

  • A core curriculum and a more in-depth course (maximum 450 hours face-to-face)
  • An “Engineering Law, Ethics and Responsibility” course (50 hours face-to-face): this course is open to all Centrale Lille work-study students and, in addition to responsibility, covers law, ethics and professional conduct.
  • Specific lessons: experience analysis, follow-up and support (26 hours face-to-face)

They are not required to follow the vocational stream or the common core curriculum.

All periods spent in a company count towards the weeks of work experience required as part of the curriculum. In particular, the full-time period spent in a company constitutes the final year’s work. The employment contract signed with the company can last from 12 to 14 months.

During this work-study year, you are exempt from paying school fees and are paid by the company (minimum 80% of the minimum wage).
